Euro Truck Simulator 2's Coaches DLC Arrives November 12 With Three Licensed Buses
SCS Software has set a November 12 release date for Coaches, a DLC that lets Euro Truck Simulator 2 players drive licensed Scania, Volvo and MAN coaches and carry passengers across Europe.

After years of hauling cargo, Euro Truck Simulator 2 players are about to carry people. SCS Software announced on its official blog on November 1 that the Coaches DLC will be released on November 12, 2026, and the Steam listing shows the same date. The studio marked the announcement with a new trailer.
Three licensed coaches
At launch, the DLC includes three officially licensed coaches:
- Scania Touring
- Volvo 9700 DD
- MAN Lion's Coach
SCS says each one has its own driving feel and a range of customization options, from chassis configurations and engine choices to interior trims and accessories.
A new kind of career
Coaches is not just a new vehicle pack. According to SCS, you can buy your own coach, take on passenger transport jobs and start what the studio calls a new career as a coach driver. The blog describes three types of work:
- Quick Jobs let you earn money before you own a coach.
- Contract Jobs use your own vehicle to run scheduled passenger services with multiple stops and timetables.
- Tourist Jobs take passengers on scenic trips to famous landmarks and attractions.
Driving for passengers
The biggest gameplay change is that your passengers care how you drive. SCS says smooth driving matters more than ever: take corners carefully, avoid harsh braking and watch a G-force indicator to keep passengers comfortable. You'll also need to balance comfort with staying on schedule while navigating busy roads, maneuvering through bus stations and handling pickups and drop-offs along your route.
That's a meaningful twist for a series where most of the challenge has come from parking trailers and managing long hauls. Timetables add pressure, while passenger comfort rewards the kind of careful driving many simulation fans already enjoy.
More to come
SCS describes the release as "just the beginning." The studio plans to keep expanding the Coaches DLC with future updates, including more licensed coaches, new customization options and additional features.
Price and availability
SCS has not listed a price on the Steam page yet, so we don't have one to share. The DLC requires Euro Truck Simulator 2 on PC. If you want a reminder when it launches, SCS suggests adding Coaches to your Steam wishlist.
We'll keep an eye on the November 12 launch. In the meantime, browse current PC game deals for discounts on other simulation and strategy games.
