Tiles Survive Explained: A Survival Strategy Game Built One Tile at a Time
Tiles Survive mixes zombie survival, settlement management and hero-led battles. Here is how the game works and who it is for.

Tiles Survive is a free-to-play survival strategy game published by FunPlus. It takes a familiar setting – a world overrun by zombies – and builds it around a simple idea: you reclaim the map one tile at a time.
The premise
You follow Sarge, a former Army Special Forces officer who leads a group of survivors after the outbreak. Your goal is to turn a run-down shelter into a working settlement and, over time, into a beacon of hope for what is left of humanity.
Expanding tile by tile
Exploration is the core loop. Each tile you clear reveals new resources to gather and new space to build on. Restoring an old power plant gives your settlement the energy it needs to grow, so balancing exploration with infrastructure is key.
Managing survivors
Survivors are not just a number. You assign them to jobs, and the right assignments keep production running and the settlement stable. Neglecting your people slows everything down.
Heroes and combat
Heroes act as combat leaders. Each hero commands a march of units trained at the Barracks and brings active and passive skills to the fight. You send heroes to explore a continent overrun by giant “titan” zombies and to recover supplies for your settlement.
Playing with others
Tiles Survive has a social side as well. Joining an Alliance lets you team up with other players for shared challenges, events and PvP.
